This 3-hour course will allow you to start start selling Flood Insurance in the state of Alaska in no time! Our NFIP course meets the one-time certification requirement for Alaska insurance producers to be licensed to sell flood insurance.
Topics we'll cover include flood zones, and how to use flood maps. We'll also talk about the different insurance policies and products that are available for those who need flood insurance. Then we'll cover the general rules and processes of rating and handling claims. We'll wrap up the course by reviewing the Flood Insurance Reform Act (FIRA) of 2004, and providing you with some agent resources.
The course fee includes the mandatory $1/hr filing fee.
