The content of this nine hour continuing education course looks at business owner’s policies and commercial coverage policies. This course is designed to provide insurance producers with nine hours of instruction needed to renew their professional license.

The first portion of this segment covers business owner’s policies. It introduces these policies and then moves on to discuss the three parts of a business owner’s policy: Property Coverage, Liability and Medical Expense Coverage, and Common Policy Conditions and Selected Endorsements.

The second portion of the course is on the topic of commercial coverage policies. It begins by going over the components of a commercial policy, commercial general liability, commercial property coverage, and selected endorsements and commercial crime coverages. Then, it concludes with a discussion on commercial inland policies, including specific coverages and forms, and farm coverage.

Finally, the course concludes with a discussion on workers’ compensation policies. It provides a history of workers’ compensation laws, and then goes into an in depth discussion on the specifics of workers’ compensation and employer liability policies.

Once a student is done with the lessons, they will need to take a final exam that will test on the entire course.
