The continuing education content of this course is designed for insurance adjusters who need to renew their professional license.
The 15 hours of instruction on property and casualty insurance are divided up into three general segments.
First, there will be a segment on automobile insurance. This segment described the type of insurance coverage that is provided for automobiles. The segment examines both personal automobile policies and automobile policies for businesses and other commercial operations.
Next, there will be a segment on business related forms of insurance.
This segment opens with a detailed exploration of the many types of commercial insurance including commercial property, commercial general liability, commercial crime, and farm insurance.
This segment will then move on to a discussion of businessowners insurance policies and the coverage this kind of insurance provides.
This segment ends by looking at workers’ compensation insurance. This portion of the segment will look at the benefits that are provided by workers’ comp along with the responsibilities of employees and employers.
After that, the course will have a segment on other forms of property and casualty insurance such as excess and umbrella insurance, surety bonds, errors and omissions insurance, flood insurance, and watercraft and boatowners insurance
