This 3 Hour course will meet your one time Certification Requirements to start selling Flood Insurance in the state of Virginia.
In this course, we'll go over the basics of flood insurance. We'll talk about community participation, and why it matters; flood maps and how to read them; flood zones, and how they are determined; and what policies and products are available for those who need flood insurance. We'll also cover how to rate and handle these claims, and the Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2004 (FIRA).
