This course applies to producers in the Property and Casualty line of insurance, and provides all 24 hours of CE that you need! This course will review key concepts and principles of Property and Casualty insurance, and includes a class on ethics.

The first course in this package is our 3 hour Ethics course, which will take an in-depth look at a number of issues surrounding ethics and the producer. The course begins with a look at trust in the industry, and whether clients actually trust insurance producers compared to other professions. It continues with a comparison of ethics versus morality, and discusses how individual beliefs alter ethical choices at times. Corporate ethical behaviors are scrutinized, and the lesson explores situations in which ethics and morals collide.

Contained in this second course of instruction is 21 hours continuing education content designed to help an insurance producer with renewing their license.

The course is broken up into four segments that each address a different aspect of property and casualty insurance.

The opening segment explores dwelling and homeowners insurance policies. This segment will discuss the available policy forms, the scope of coverage, and endorsements that can be used to augment coverage.

The next segment of the course examines automobile insurance. This segment will look at both automobile insurance policies for private individuals and automobile insurance for commercial enterprises.

A segment of this course deals with business related insurance policies. This segment begins with a thorough discussion of commercial insurance policies, specifically the types of insurance that are typically bundled into a commercial package policy.

Then, this segment will cover businessowner’s insurance policies and the unique protection this kind of policy can provide.

This segment wraps up by talking about workers’ compensation insurance. This portion will look at the history, purpose, and benefits of workers’ comp. This portion will also address the related responsibilities of employees and employers.

The course will conclude with an exploration of other forms of property and casualty insurance, such as errors and omissions insurance, flood insurance, and boatowners insurance. Once a student has finished the course they will be asked to complete a final exam. The purpose of this exam is to promote understanding, comprehension, and retention of the lessons in the course.
