This course is approved for 18 hours by the Minnesota Department of Commerce. It reviews key principles and concepts related to life & health insurance policies.
In this course, we'll cover several topics important to Life and Health insurance producers. In addition to reviewing some fundamentals of life and health insurance, we'll cover disability insurance policies and who may qualify for them. We'll discuss annuities and tax-qualified plans. You'll also learn about some health insurance topics, including dental insurance and group healthplans. We'll discuss Medicare, Parts A-D, eligibility requirements, and supplemental policies. Last, we'll talk about tax considerations and federal regulations that apply to some of these plans.
