This 3 Hour course will meet your one time Certification Requirements to start selling Flood Insurance in the state of New Jersey. It will also count as 3 hours of continuing education for a Public Adjuster. This course includes the mandatory exam.

In this course, you'll learn all about flood insurance: what it's for, how it works, and who needs it. You'll learn what flood zone designations mean, and how to read flood maps. We'll talk about what flood insurance does and doesn't cover, and about what community participation means for individual homeowners. We'll talk about how to rate and handle claims, and we'll cover the 2004 Flood Insurance Reform Act (FIRA).
