Our 40 hour class is approved by the State of Oregon to meet the Mandatory Pre-License Education Requirement for the Property & Casualty Insurance lines.

This course will begin with some general insurance concepts, then move into our Ethics for Insurance Producers class. Then, we'll look at dwelling policies, homeowners' policies, personal, and commercial auto policies. After that we'll move on to business-related policies, such as commercial coverage package, and worker's compensation insurance, before finishing up with Oregon insurance law and the final exam.

Our course is specifically designed to help you prepare for the state exam through PSI to get your insurance license by covering all these important topics. Additionally, our periodic quizzes help ensure that you've retained the material that you'll need to know!

I thought the course was very detailed, there are a few questions that need some review and editing, but other then that the course was great!

I found several grammar errors and the quizzes and tests have duplicate questions. Much of what is covered in the course is not needed for the tests.

There needs to be far more quiz questions throughout the modules. It would be nice to have some on demand videos that explain the modules in simpler terms for better compensation while learning the terminology.

This course "sets you up" by giving softball questions after each section of the text. Then when you get to the final quizzes and test, the questions are often written with shades of meaning making the correct answer a 50 -50 possibility. Also, a test like this should measure the student's understanding of concepts as applied in dealing with insurance needs, not petty facts that will always be at the producer's fingertips on any insurance services database. Also, there are many questions that deal with issues that are not covered in the text or just mentioned in a cursory way. This test needs to be completely revamped to measure the students understanding of insurance, not a slalom through tricky and petty questions.
