The Rhode Island 24 Hour Life and Health Package furnishes the insurance producer with everything needed to renew their Life and Health license in the State of Rhode Island. The course begins on the topic of Ethics for the Insurance Producer, and then moves into Life Insurance Fundamentals, where the student will study issues such as general principles of life insurance, life insurance policy types, standard provisions, qualified plans, life insurance and securities and they will end the section examining the issues surrounding annuities. From there, they will move into a section dedicated to Health Insurance Fundamentals, that includes subjects such as disability income, medical plans, group health, dental insurance, Medicare and long-term care, and finally a short section on federal tax health. The last segment for the student will be that of Federal Regulations and Long-Term Care, where they will examine the federal regulations in the area of life and health, and Long-Term Care Pre-licensing. After they have successfully completed these sections, the student will be allowed to take the final examination, and be provided with a Certificate of Completion.
