This 8-hour CE course is designed for Property & Casualty insurance producers licensed in Rhode Island. In this course, we’ll focus on topics that apply to businesses and commercial ventures.

In Commercial Auto Insurance, we’ll discuss the standardized forms used for commercial auto policies. We’ll look at the definitions used here, coverage, and liability limits and exclusions. We’ll look at Garage Coverage, and various endorsements as well.

Our Commercial Coverage Policies course will cover the components of these policies, including the liability coverage, exclusions, and supplements. We’ll also define who is considered an “insured”, and what happens in the event of bankruptcy, pollution, crime, and other specific occurrences. We’ll look at coverage extensions, and forms such as Cause of Loss and Legal Liability Coverage Form. Farm coverage will also be discussed in detail.

The Business Owner’s Policies class will examine the coverage offered to businesses and their owners to provide both property and liability coverage. In the class, we’ll talk about risks, coverage, liability, and some common endorsements.

In our Worker’s Compensation Insurance class, we’ll talk about the history of worker’s compensation, and how it works today. We’ll look at premiums, conditions, and losses that are covered. We’ll also discuss the various types and degrees of disability and how they relate to worker’s compensation, before looking at premium computations and laws governing these policies.
