This 24-hour continuing education course will provide the Washington Property and Casualty licensee with current and up-to-date information in order to successfully renew their Washington license. Topics in this course include current insurance regulations and property and casualty laws and rules in the state and on a federal level, and amplifies basic, but important and essential information regarding P&C essentials. Continuing, a thorough discussion of fire dwelling, personal and commercial automobile insurance, and other P&C coverages that provide an emphasis on modern protection and how to best take care of the client. Other important coverages, such as watercraft coverage, flood insurance, surety and more are included in this lesson. The next lesson in the course gives the licensee a thorough and complete discussion of commercial insurance policy packages, and the course concludes with an updated lesson on professional ethics for insurance licensees.

This updated course includes many illustrations and examples to aid in learning and retention, and goes beyond the basic information needed for licensees. The course will introduce the candidate to terms, definitions and concepts that are not just the foundation of Personal Lines insurance, but are intended to accelerate and amplify the student’s knowledge. The course provides a detailed discussion of dwelling and homeowner insurance, personal automobile insurance, other coverages including surety, watercraft, recreational vehicles, and more. The course finishes with a modern look at ethics for the professional insurance licensee.

To receive a certificate of completion for this 24-hour course, a 125-question final exam must be successfully passed.
